Server Modes and Filters in OXIDE

OXIDE offers several server types and filters to help players choose the gameplay style that suits them best. Below you’ll find explanations of the main modes and labels shown in the server list.

PvP (Player versus Player)

PvP is a game mode where players can freely fight each other.

In PvP mode:

  • player-versus-player combat is enabled
  • base raiding is allowed
  • there is a risk of losing resources and items

This mode is suitable for players who enjoy competitive and high-risk gameplay.

PvE (Player versus Environment)

PvE is a game mode where the main interaction happens between the player and the game world, rather than between players.

In PvE mode:

  • attacks on other players are disabled
  • player bases cannot be raided or destroyed (if a cupboard is placed on the base)
  • the focus is on survival, building, and exploration

PvE servers are ideal for relaxed gameplay and learning the game mechanics.

Premium

Premium servers are available to players with an active Premium status.

On Premium servers, you may find:

  • increased rates
  • more comfortable server conditions
  • exclusive servers for Premium players

Premium status does not provide combat advantages, but grants access to additional features.

Server Wipe Types

Server names may include the following labels:

  • Weekly - wipes occur once a week
  • Biweekly - wipes occur every two weeks
  • Monthly - wipes occur once a month

These labels indicate how often server progress is wiped.

Server List Filters

The following filters are available:

  • PvE Only - shows only PvE servers
  • Premium - shows Premium servers only
  • No PC - servers without PC player
  • Weekly/Biweekly/Monthly - filters by wipe schedule

Filters help you quickly find a server that matches your playstyle.
