What is the death marker and how do I find where I died on the map?

When you die, a marker with the exact coordinates of your death location appears on the map.
This helps you navigate back to your body to recover dropped items.
Your sleeping bags are also displayed on the map and numbered, so you always know which bag is where and can choose the best respawn point.
