What is the difference between a one-time purchase and a subscription?

A one-time purchase gives you one period (7 days or 1 month) and ends when the period is over. A subscription with auto-renewal automatically renews at the end of each period until you cancel it. If you have both a subscription and a one-time purchase, the subscription is used first, and the days from the one-time purchase are postponed until the subscription ends.
