What turrets are there and how do I set one up?

Turrets are automatic defences: you place one, load it, and it fires at players who aren't authorized in your cupboard.

Shotgun turret — the entry-level one, and already a clear step up from the gun trap: it aims, while the trap only covers a fixed cone.

Machinegun turret — the stronger of the two, with a faster rate of fire.

Both are researched at the workbench. Note that the recipe includes an actual weapon — a shotgun for the first, a machinegun for the second — along with the electronics and metal. The weapon is consumed, so factor that into the cost.

Ammo. A turret shoots the ammo type its weapon uses and holds a limited magazine. An empty turret does nothing, so check them when you top up the cupboard.

Placement. While you position a turret, its range is drawn on the ground as a translucent sector that turns with it. Use it to line the turret up with a doorway or a corridor instead of guessing.

Who it shoots. Players authorized in the cupboard covering the turret are safe. Everyone else is a target.
